Ambuja Realty plans 3 hotels in north Bengal:- Ambuja Realty Development Ltd will build three luxury hotels in north Bengal, including one at Kurseong in Darjeeling. Two of the hotels would be in Darjeeling district- Makaibari, Siliguri and Jalpaiguri district. The projects would be funded through a mixture of debt and equity. Ambuja Realty is primarily engaged in construction of residential and commercial projects, which includes information technology parks, retail malls, special economic zones, theme parks, hotels and banquets, education and healthcare centres.
IIT-M Research Park cost rises to Rs 300 cr:- A year ago, when the constructors broke ground for IIT Madras’ heuristic research park project, the cost of the project was Rs 100 crore. According to the original plan, a million sq ft of space were to be constructed on a 6.5-acre of land. Now, upon demand, the size of the project has been increased to 1.6 million sq ft on a larger (11.43-acre) plot of land. Also, rise in cost of construction has gone up. The first phase of the project will be ready by September.
Maytas launch first SEZ for IT, ITES in Hyderabad:-Maytas Properties Ltd, a leading property development company, Thursday launched its first special economic zone (SEZ) for IT and IT enabled services (ITES) here.Spread over 74 acres, the SEZ will have a built-up area of eight million square feet.The entire SEZ and the integrated township are expected to be completed in four to five phases over next eight to 10 years.The first phase of the integrated township will have three million square feet of residential space. It will comprise 326 villas and 840 apartments spread over 11 towers.
